How To Submit

Call for entries for the third annual Portable Film Festival are now open until 30th May 2008. Renowned directors will be battling it out against budding bedroom philosophers, across six categories including Short Film, Music Video, Animation, Online Serials, Films Caught on Mobile Devices and this year for the first time ever feature films.

Simple Tips for Submission

Download our four essential documents to help you submit to the Portable Film Festival.
Pick the most appropriate category - Short Film, Get Animated, Music Video, Look at Me, First Hand Capture or Feature Film.
Make sure to follow our guidelines concerning film formats and music rights.
Make sure you read and understand our Terms and Conditions before you submit.
All films must be submitted with an entry form by 30 May 2008. Films postmarked after this date will not be accepted.
Our programme will be finalised within a month of the close of call for entries. All applicants will be notified of our decision after this date.
The Portable Film Festival & will run from 1 - 31 August 2008, in which users become creator, curator and critic.
Votes will be tallied in September. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the end of the month.

Format Requirements

Your entry must be in HIGH QUALITY and UNCOMPRESSED on an UNAUTHORED data disc in AVI, QUICKTIME, or MOV format (PAL).
